About Our Programs
What’s the duration of the course? How long does it take to complete?
Courses varies from 1 – 9 weeks.
What time does the class start and end for the day?
Class Starts at 8:30am – 5:30pm (Day Class)
Are there any prerequisites required to take a course?
Yes, for Crane Courses. To take a crane course, you must have rigging experience and or certification.
What does the course cover/consist of?
Classroom Preparation, Written and Practical Exams, Hands-On Preparation
Do I need to bring anything to class?
Study material is provided to you and you need to bring it to class everyday. You just need a valid DL or ID and proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Is there a deadline to enroll in any course?
Yes, deadlines to enroll will be 2 weeks before the 1st day of class.
Does the course consist of hands-on prep?
Yes it does.
What would be the average pay once I get a job?
Pay starts at $30+ (Plant jobs)
About Our Training Center
Is everything done there at the facility?
Yes, everything except the written exam, which is taken at a computer lab in the area.
Do you offer night classes and weekend classes?
Not at the moment.
How old do you have to be to attend any course?
You must be at least 18 years old.
How far is the crane yard from the office?
Approx. 15 – 20 minute drive.
Do you have Spanish Classes?
No
What if I have a felony?
Courses can be taken if someone has a felony on their record and can be eligible for employment opportunities.
What if I’m on probation?
Courses can be taken if someone is on probation.
Do you help with job placement?
Yes, we assist, but not guaranteed. 95% of students are currently employed.
Do you have refresher courses?
Yes, we do.
Where is the school located?
We are located in Baytown, TX, and Highlands, TX. East of Houston.
About NCCCO Certification
How long does it take to get the results of whether you passed or failed?
You will receive written results as soon as you complete the exam and you will receive practical results by mail in 15-20 business after testing.
Will I get my certification card on the day I complete the training?
No, It will be sent to you by the NCCCO’s corporate office via mail within 15-20 business days once all exams are complete and passed.
Is the certification valid in other states?
Yes, all over the U.S.
What is the process if I do not pass an exam?
Written: you must wait 30 days before you can re-register to re-test.
Practical: You may re-take the practical exam the same day or at any time (Additional fee applied)
How long is the certification valid?
Valid for 5 years.
When I recertify, is the whole course required to be taken again?
No, only the written portion of all courses need to be taken to recertify, except for the signal person. Signal Person requires a practical exam to recertify.

How does the payment process work?
A deposit is required, then the remaining balance is due on the 1st day of class.

Yes, $750-$1,500
Is GI Bill and Hazelwood Act accepted?
Acceptance of the Hazelwood Act will be coming soon.
We currently accept the GI Bill.
