NCCCO Certification

QUESTIONS

  • How long does it take to get the results of whether you passed or failed?

    You will receive written results as soon as you complete the exam and you will receive practical results by mail in 15-20 business after testing.

  • Will I get my certification card on the day I complete the training?

    No, It will be sent to you by the NCCCO’s corporate office via mail within 15-20 business days once all exams are complete and passed.

  • Is the certification valid in other states?

    Yes, all over the U.S.

  • What is the process if I do not pass an exam?

    Written: you must wait 30 days before you can re-register to re-test.

    Practical: You may re-take the practical exam the same day or at any time (Additional fee applied)

  • How long is the certification valid?

    Valid for 5 years.

  • When I recertify, is the whole course required to be taken again?

    No, only the written portion of all courses need to be taken to recertify, except for the signal person. Signal Person requires a practical exam to recertify.
